February 2010

It was this month that I started baby-sitting a couple of kids in my home. It started out just Wesley and Dakota, and they became buddies pretty quick! Here they are sharing french fries!

Here is Wesley with his big goose egg on his head! I don't remember how he did this now, but this was one of the first big accidents that he has had.
This was another day, when Wes and Dakota climbed up together to watch cartoons!
And, this is what I found when I checked on Wes and Dakota about 15 minutes later!

And, this was one night, close to bedtime. Wesley climbed up and curled up beside me. The next thing I know, he's fast asleep.
This was one more month of huge blessings! I'm really loving to get to watch our little man grow up. He's just growing up way too fast for me!!

A February Trip to the Park

We ended up having a pretty nice day in February, so we decided to take a family trip to the park! We walked down to the pavilion where Jud let Wesley play in the water fountain! He really thought that that was great!

And, Wesley loves to swing!!
I sure do love these two guys with all of my heart! How can I not be proud of them?
I do believe that Wesley would go anywhere with his Daddy!!

I love every face this child makes!!
We had some good family time and Wes had a blast. Needless to say, he slept really well that night!

Valentine's Day 2010

Wesley's second Valentine's Day went a lot better than his first. His first Valentine's Day, he was sick with a stomach virus. This year, he woke up early feeling like his normal self, to a bucket full of goodies!

I'm so glad that he was feeling better this year!! It was a nice day at home with my guys!!

Snow Days in February!!

We had snow days in February! That's right, DAYS! This was on the 11th, when it first started snowing! Wesley liked it okay at this point!


Later that night, Jud brought in a snow ball for Wesley and gave it to him. Wesley dropped the snow ball on the floor! This is the aftermath!

This was the next morning when Jud got ready to go to work! The snow was deep for Texas!!

January 2010

Hi, All! January was a pretty slow month. We had two dinner/birthday parties. The first of which was my little sister's (who was thankfully out of the hospital by this time)!! Mom, Dad, Ashley, Jud, Wesley and I went to a local Mexican restaurant, Margarita's for Ashley's birthday. There were a few other pictures taken that night, but this is the only group photo that was taken.

The next birthday/dinner party was also done at Margarita's for my sister-in-law, Jennifer! This is Jennifer with all of her nieces and nephews!
This was a sweet picture of Wesley sleeping in his Mom and Dad's bed!
And, this is what happens when I get up from my seat!!
This was a fun, but pretty slow month and not many pictures were taken.

New Years Eve 2009

For New Year's Eve, Wesley's Nana and PopPop came up with the idea to drive to Jefferson to ride the Historic Jefferson Railway's New Year's train! This was Wesley's first train ride, so it was great that Nana and PopPop came up with this idea!! Here is the train and the green car is the one that we rode in!!
