We made sure to tell my SILs Jenny and Jamye that we were going over to Jud's dad's to tell him and Jud's brother, Jody, the news later that evening. So, my amazing SILs decided to make a celebration out of it!! Jenny ordered pizza and made cookies for us, and Jamye brought sodas!
We showed Jud's Dad the same way that Wes and I showed Jud. It took him a few minutes to get to that page and catch on to the news, but he seemed pretty excited. After, we reveled the news, we ate and visited. Then, we headed to my parents to tell them the news in the same way! Dad was looking over Mom's shoulder and their reaction was priceless!! When Mom realized what it said, she goes, "You're PREGNANT?! Are you sure?" And, when I said yes, they were both very happy! I don't think my Dad believed it at first!!
We chose to tell Jud's Dad first this time because he called my parents and told them first with Wesley! I later called both of my sisters to tell them. My older sister, Kim, reacted like she was pretty happy for us. My younger sister, Ashley, didn't seem quite as excited, but I believe that was due to some personal reasons. Though, it still hurt my feelings!
But, the overall reaction really made us feel loved!!

Wesley is Going to be a Big Brother!!
You got it!! We're pregnant!! We found out April 28th and according to Babycenter, I was 5 weeks along when I found out. Our due date is December 26!! How cool is that? A Christmas baby! How fitting is that? My second little blessing being due right around Jesus' Birthday!! I took the test that morning and talked to my sis-in-law, Jennifer, for ideas to tell Jud. I didn't surprise him in anyway with Wesley, so this time I wanted to do a little something. Jenny came up with the idea of a scrapbook page (now that I have really gotten into scrapbooking) and with Jenny's help it turned out beautifully!! I finished another page that I had been working on and put both pages in the book that I've been working on for Wesley. When Jud got home, I told him to come look at what I had gotten done today and I seriously wish that I had his reaction on videotape when he saw this page!! He asked, "Are you serious? Are you sure? That's great!!" A few minutes later, we got together and headed to see Jud's twin sister, Jamye, to tell her the good news! Between her reaction, Jenny's and Jud's, they really made the news that much better! It really helps to have loved ones that back us!! We are so happy to finally get our good news!! I'll share our parents reactions in my next post!!

Truth
Friends,
I hope that I'm really back this time, but I can't promise. I wish I could tell you that the reason that I haven't written until this point is because I've been extremely busy, but I would be lying. We HAVE had a lot going on, but not enough to prevent me from posting. Truth be told, it's been a mixture of things. I've kind of been in a rut. I don't think that I've really been putting my heart into a majority of my posts. I tell you what has been happening when I post, but I don't usually say a lot about how I'm feeling or the personal things that are going on. But, the truth of it is I've been in a rut. Jud and I have been trying to have another child for what will be two years in July with no luck. And, though I have been EXTREMELY happy for those around me that have been getting pregnant, I want to be one of these women! Every monthly, it feels like a heartbreak. And, I know there are many, many women that feel this way and I know that some women never have a child. But, I can't help feeling this way. I don't take my precious son for granted and I ADORE having him in my life, but I've REALLY been wanting another child. I know that many women go through lots of heartbreaking situations while trying to have kids of their own. These are many of the reasons that I haven't posted my true feelings. I don't want others to think that I'm putting my feelings first. But, it had really gotten me down in the dumps and I just haven't felt like writing at all. But, it's time to get back writing. It's time for me to either really share with you or close this blog down completely, and I really want to continue blogging! Please bear with me as I get back into writing and sharing as our lives move on. Thank you for sticking with me!

I'm Back with a New Recipe!!
Well, Hello again!! I know that it's been awhile! Life really got in the way and I guess, to be honest, I kinda got lazy at posting. But, I'm back and playing catch up (once again)! But, this time instead of flooding everyone with back-up posts, I've back-dated them. So, ya'll can go through and read when you have time or want too! I'm still posting back-dated posts, so there will be new posts on past dates every chance that I get!!
And, for the recipe!! Jud, his brother JimEd, and brother-in-law Michael went deer hunting right after Christmas (I'll do a back-dated post soon!) and brought back a good bit of deer meat. Now, I'm one of those that I can't even see it in the shape of the deer or I can't eat it. (I don't know why, but I've been like that for as long as i can remember.) So, Jud worked around this and I've been eating deer sausage and tonight, ground deer meat in chili! It was GREAT!! So, here is how he made it.
We let it simmer for a while longer and it was GREAT!! And, the ground turkey is supposed to be less greasy than hamburger meat!
Thank you all, for sticking with me! And, I'm hoping to get better at keeping my posts current! Hope ya'll enjoy this recipe!
