Hunting Easter Eggs!- April

All of Jud's brothers and sisters and their Dad made plans for all of us to go over to Jud's Dad's house to eat for Easter. So, Jud and I asked about doing an Easter egg hunt for the kiddos! There are a lot of pictures, so I'm letting you know ahead of time! Here are all three kids as they came out to hunt!

We ended up eating and playing. We got to enjoy some wonderful family time!! This was also around the time that we found out that Jennifer was pregnant!!

Wesley's Early Easter Presents!- April

Jud and I found out that chicks and ducklings were being sold at the local Tractor Supply, so we decided to buy Wesley one of both for Easter. The plan was to take his Easter pictures with them and then keep them as pets to go along with Summer, his dachshund. (Summer has been my pet since about a year after Jud and I started dating.) Wesley was very interested in the duck and chick. Jud decided to name both. So, we had Howard the duck and Chick the chick! LOL!!




They were the cutest little animals and they tripled in size in about a month to a month and a half. We ended up having to put them in a pen in the back yard. One day, Summer (Wesley's dog) ended up getting in the pen and killed both the duck and the chick. Happy note: Wesley wasn't old enough to know what happened.

March!

These pictures are a mixture of things from March, but wouldn't fit in other posts! This was one of the days that I was watching Dakota and Aidan. Wesley got mad and decided to throw a fit. Aidan went over to Wes and asked, "What's wrong, Wesley?"
This was Wesley's puppy Marley! The story? When we first brought Marley home he was about 5 weeks old and we thought he was a she, so we named "her" Lexi. After having "her" a month or so, I happened to look and told Jud that I thought she was a he. He told me, "No, it's a she." The next day, I was out rubbing "her" belly when Jud looked at me and said that I was right! That is the day that Lexi became Marley! LOL!


This was one of the nights that he climbed up in my chair and fell asleep.

March was a lot of fun! Wesley is growing up so quickly, but we are making sure to treasure every minute of it!

Clean up, Clean up!- March

We had been working with Wes and I with Wesley, Dakota and Aidan on picking up the toys at nap time, close to time for the kids to leave and Wesley's bedtime. One day after everyone had left except for Dakota, I look up from my book to see Wesley start cleaning up!



It was very cute and heart-warming to see him picking up some of the things that we are trying to teach him!

Wesley's Newest Friend!- March

I know that you all are thinking how many friends does he have, right? Reagan and Dakota were my part-timers. This was a common occurrence with Wesley and Reagan! He'd put his head down there for her to rub,Or, he'd lean down and kiss her!
She would light up when he came over to her and he loved playing with her.

Wesley's New Recliner from Nana and PopPop- March

Wesley's Nana found this recliner for Wesley that matched his Daddy's recliner! She and PopPop decided to order it for him. He absolutely loved it!! Here he is sitting in it the first time!
