Wesley is walking!!

Okay, okay, so he's been walking since November! But, I've been really neglectful in updating my blog. So, in order for this post to really make sense, please visit this post from November 18! As I stated, Jud had a police class in Huntsville that week and he was going to be in a hotel from Sunday evening through Friday, so Wesley and I decided to join him!! I mean what could be more fun than sequestering myself and 15-month old child in a hotel room for FIVE days straight?? Well, considering his age and the length of time, he did really great!! But, here are the pictures from Huntsville!

And, below is the secret from This Post:

Wesley began walking while we were in Huntsville!! He went from taking steps from one person to another Saturday, to walking around the room on Sunday. Then, come Monday, he was walking up and down the hallways, around the lobby and dining area!

He crashed Sunday night absolutely worn out! Here is sleeping in the hotel bed before we moved him to the playpen for the night!

Here he is Monday night giving the baby in the mirror sugars!!

And, knocking on the door, trying to get in the bathroom with his Daddy!! This became a common occurrence in the hotel room and, later at home!

And, as a side note, if you ever have to visit Huntsville, stay in the Comfort Suites* there!! They have very nice rooms and their employees are extremely friendly and helpful!! And, I'm talking everyone of them that I met, from the house-cleaning, to the maintenance , the breakfast staff, the front desk help and especially the manager! The hotel's check-out time is 12, but Jud had class til 2:30. So, I talked to the manager on Thursday and very willingly let Wesley and I keep our room until 2! This was a very nice little "vacation."
