A new Nephew!!- May

On May 25th, after a mostly rough pregnancy, the doctors decided to take my little sister, Ashley's baby, Carter Thomas, by C-Section. Ashley had gone to the hospital having contractions, but the doctors got them stopped. Then, his heart rate kept dropping, returning to normal, and dropping again. They got that stopped for a bit, but when it started back, the doctors decided to go ahead and take him early. When I say early, I mean EARLY. Carter Thomas was due August 13th and was born May 25th. Carter was 2 lbs., 9.9 oz and 14 inches long! A handsome baby boy that fought hard to be born early and fought to live. He was and is a very strong and healthy baby boy! Here is a picture of Carter with his proud PopPop!

Carter came home right around his due date and is growing very quickly!! We sure are proud of him!!

I'm so glad that Carter was able to have such a wonderful, loving family around him to support him and help him fight and grow. He truly is a miracle baby!
