This week we are talking about our wonderful spouses on Week 2 of Tell Me About It Tuesday!!
I met my wonderful husband, Jud, on my birthday, March 26, 2004. I had been living in an apartment with a friend and going to a Junior College. I had been having a really rough time with the guy that I was currently seeing, so after finishing my hour of work-study that morning, I made the 30-minute trip back to my hometown to see my Mom at work. (She was working at the local Middle School.) My Mom had told the secretary at the school (Stephanie, who had become a friend) about the problems having with my current boyfriend, so she decided to introduce me to a friend of her's. Jud and I didn't really hit it off or say much to each other. It was a few months later, in June, that my Mom ended being a monitor on the bus that Jud was driving for summer school. Mom had given him our house phone number during this time. (My boyfriend and I had broken up and I had moved back home.) Then, I gave him my cellphone number and he called that night. He called that night and we talked for FOUR hours! The next night, he called again, and we talked for four hours and twenty minutes! We actually started dating July 21, 2004.
(Our second Christmas)
Then, on Christmas Eve 2006, Jud asked me to marry him!! I will NEVER forget that wonderful night!
(Our second Christmas)
We were married on July 21, 2007!
And, had our son, Wesley, on August 14, 2008.
Jud is a a wonderful friend, husband, and father. Jud was going through the police academy while working at the school when I met him.
He is now a Police Chief at a local school, and he's a little bit of a workaholic! He has a weird sense of humor at times.
But, he does have a sense of humor!!
He is really smart about lots of topics. He loves video games and crime shows. He also likes the Pawn shows! He also loves action and comedy movies. He LOVES playing golf!
He is great with computers and home improvements. He's very serious when playing games. His favorite football team is Denver Broncos. His favorite colors are blue and yellow. He is really, really great with our son and Wesley really looks up to him already! He never hesitates to spend time with Wesley.
He is extremely laid back for the most part. He loves his family and is really close to them. He will tell you like it is, even when you don't want to hear it! He only snores when sleeping on his back, but very seldom sleeps on his back.
He doesn't like to cuddle for very long when going to sleep. He's not much for public displays of affection, or much of a romantic. But, he definitely has his moments!
Being married to Jud is NEVER boring. It's something new everyday! It's kind of hard to believe that we've been married for over THREE years and been together for over SIX!! I love this man SSSSOOOOO much!!Join us for Tell Me About It Tuesday and tell us about you! Next week, we are talking about our Kids!!

Aww - so sweet! :)
